There were a lot of intentional positivity and awareness. I also liked how both of you set the tone and create a safe space for all of us before the start of the lesson. A lot of affirmation and assurance given at every point of the lesson. By checking in, it also means that you care about our thought process and would like to address any negativity and bring us back again. I've learnt that It is not about comparing to others but how you think and see things that matter. [Also the fact to] never stop learning and growing. Very inspired that both of you shared that you were not art trained but yet always seeking new ways to improve and grow your art. We came with no expectations. But we walked away feeling empowered. The feelings lingers on (not sure why!) Everyone who is willing and has the heart to try or learn jagua ink [will be suitable for the class]!

I really enjoyed the intimate setting of the class, it felt like a safe space to learn and explore. Apart from learning the techniques of using the jagua cone (which were super interesting!!) I think I learnt that I still need to work on being patient and gentle with myself. To be honest, I did feel a bit stressed and intimidated at some points because everyone else seemed to already be great at drawing/some kind of art and were getting the hang of the cone much quicker. But then I reminded myself to BREATHE and exhale haha because I’m doing this for myself and all I have to do is try my best. And it can only get better from here 😂 Haha so yes I would say my expectations were definitely met - I learnt new things about jagua and myself that I can work on 😊 I think the class is definitely suitable for all 😊

I loved the class, definitely fun to try a different medium and learn new techniques. I think I have a good basic understanding now of how to do it but I think you need to emphasise how important practice is to get to a high level. I think the way you approached it made it very accessible to all abilities.

I loved the really welcoming, safe and comfortable space that y’all created. I loved that y’all emphasised that there won’t be any judgements! There were a lot of pointers that y’all gave us individually that was very useful. I liked how y’all constantly shared with the rest the tips and tricks as we were doing the exercises as well! I learnt that awareness is very important and to enjoy the highs and lows of the process :) I don’t have much expectations but I did hope to explore using a different medium to make art and that was met:) The class is suitable for anyone!! ESP people who love to create:)
